Guestbook

Share your favorite Stuckey’s memory! Our guestbook is your opportunity to share those experiences with others.

Just about everybody has a Stuckey‘s story, recalling a time when they took road trips in the family station wagon and found “highway happiness” at one of our stores.

We would love to hear your most fond memories from yesterday or today, and we know others would love to share in your experiences as well. Please take a moment or two and post your comments in our guestbook.

I remember in the late 60's and through the 70' stopping at a Stuckey's Restaurant with my parents and sisters to have a meal. It was there where I tried my first piece of pecan pie. I can remember it like yesterday. It was delicious.

May 2024:Former Stuckey's at Yee Haw Junction, Florida: My wife and I just stopped in at what was once the Stuckey's in Yee Haw Junction at the Florida Turnpike exit. A few Stuckey's signs left and some novelty items ( I bought a Stuckey's magnet). Doesn't appear to be an official Stuckey's anymore. However, everyone (pre 1980s) who ever made the Tampa to Miami road trip (before I-75 was extended from Tampa to Miami) stopped at the Stuckey's in Yee Haw Junction, FL. From Tampa to Yee Haw Junction via State Road 60 to the Turnpike at the mid point... Read more

From Tampa to Yee Haw Junction via State Road 60 to the Turnpike at the mid point to Miami...There were 2 gas stations at this road stop... the Horn's and Stuckey's. The Horn's building is demo' d and is now a RaceTrac gas station. BUT< the Stuckey's building is still there with its unique architecture. This was always our family stop before hitting the Turnpike... Dad would gas up and buy us a pecan roll. Mention the town "Yee Haw Junction" in Tampa and you will hear similar stories... and with a stop at the Stuckey's. I still remember as child walking into the Stuckey's after several hours of riding in a packed 1970 Pontiac Lemans. I could remember where the souvenirs were displayed, including the multiple alligator heads...... Collapse

As a child growing up stopping at Stuckeys was always a highlight of our vacation trip. The stores were always clean along with clean restrooms. The most exciting part was picking out our treats that we shared from Stuckeys. The items were always fresh and extremely tasty. I’m glad the Stuckeys brand is being revived and thankful for the same quality food that is now available again.

It was wonderful to hear your inspiring story at the Winchester Business in Bloom luncheon. I’ve ALWAYS loved stopping at Stuckey’s as my parents drove us from Pennsylvania to Disney World growing up - Stuckey’s and South of the Border were my faves. I was telling my recent college grad, Will, about Stuckey’s. While he loved the story he doesn’t remember Stuckey’s - make sure to market to that new generation !!!! I’ll do all I can to make sure my kids become fans. Now we just need HoJo’s to make a comeback too 🌸 (Shameful plug but if your... Read more

We remember Stuckeys from the 70s. It was our favorite stop on cross country trips because they made real milkshakes using real ice cream! We could never pass them up.

I took my daughter to a location in Texas because my grandmother's mother was Stella Agnes Stuckey-Yount (f: Joseph Stuckey m: Nellie Stuckey) and wanted to experience a part of family history as well as the past. We even got to flatten a penny in the machine like the old days. We also found license plate like memorabilia with our names.

Please bring back your Pecan Divinity! It's my favorite "guilty pleasure" and yours was the best. I gave some packages of it as Christmas gifts a few years ago and my friends still rave about it.

I remember Stuckey’s from the 60’s - 70’s around the US on our family trips. My Mom liked that the bathrooms were clean, I loved the vending machine with the black and white Scottie magnet dogs. Dad loved the break from us 4 kids. Thanks for the reminder and wonderful family memory.

I have fond memories of Stuckeys Pecan Log Rolls, as it became an annual tradition for my grandparents to bring some back with them to Canada after their vacations down south. I haven't had one in a couple decades now and would love to experience them again. Do you have any plans to make them available in Canada?

My day was just made. I received a personal phone call from CEO of Stuckys, Stephanie Stuckey. We spoke of her new book released this week, as well how her rebranding/recharging methods can be used for our brand (Jesus Christ). The word does not change, but how we communicate it and share it does. Stephanie also helped with my Kentucky Grant County Sheriff’s Office Pink Patch Project.
